I made this plague doctor mask just for fun, then, i entered in DeviantArt and i heard (that you like Mudkips) that there was a Halloween contest. I said right away "WHY NOT?!". So I made some photos using my doctor's mask.

Oh, you don't know what is a plague doctor or why should you be afraid of one of them?

I'll explain with the help of Wikipedia:

Plague doctors were known for using bird-like mask to prevent catching this horrible disease in the medieval times: the Black Plague, also known as "Black Death" or "Bubonic Plague". This disease, caused by a flea (Xenopsylla cheopis) that lives in a black rat, killed lots of people in all Europe.

The doctors were feared not because of their appearence, but due to the meaning of their vestiments: "someone has the plague in this town, we are all going to die and burn in hell". Yes, the only cure for this disease was fire.

Until today there are people who catch this stuff, but due to the evolving of medicin, we don't have plagues anymore.
